Of course I'd love K04s, but that's £5K minimum. So I'll only go that route when my turbos tell me they are dying!

However as you point out, I've modded my car to a pretty good level and I'm happy with the performance 95% of the time. I can't remember the exact figures, but the Miltek cats allow peak torque to rise by about 30 lbft and peak torque by about 30 bhp. However more important is the fact that it stops the power tailing off over 5500 rpm: As I'm sure you'll agree, for fast driving you are better off changing gear before 6000 rpm because of this tail-off. With the Miltek cats you maintain acceleration to the redline.

30 lbft peak torque and 30 bhp should be quite noticable, i usually change before im near 6k as after 5.5k you really notice the tail off.
Anyway, looks like im gonna have to put the mods on hold for longer than i thought. Got radared on the M40 doing 121.3. Im looking at a few months ban. As i got round a slight corner i saw them parked on the hard shoulder. I braked quite heavily and got my speed down quick. Anyway as i passed them i saw them jump into the car. They followed me for about a minute (i was only doing 70 as they followed) and they finally pulled me over and gave me a ticking off.

I had my dad, mum, sister and wife in the car, that made the rest of the journey quite enjoyable, NOT!
Dont wanna even think about my insurance after this.
Gonna have to beg the judge for leaniency (spelling?), they dont have me on video speeding only the gun reading so im gonna have to think of a good excuse. Wish me luck.
