Chipsaway for Alloy Refurbishment

Post by jonno1 » Tue Jun 01, 2004 11:56 am

Has anyone used Chipsaway for alloy wheel refurbishment? Just had a quote from Chipsaway Battersea in London of £80 + VAT per wheel which seems a bit steep. Has anyone used them or another Chipsaway branch? Did they do a good job? Is £80 expensive? Does anyone know anywhere in Central London that does alloy refurbishment, ding repairs etc which is reliable and reasonably priced (always tricky in London).

Thanks :D

Well not London actually but Pristine Wheels in Milton Keynes have a great reputation and are doing great trade in BMW wheels at the moment as they are one of the few places that can produce an almost perfect refurb. Trouble is that they´re in Milton Keynes (Woburn Sands) and need the wheel for 2 days. Quoted me 70 +vat and may be able to turn an Audi wheel around in less than that.
