ABS warning light

Post by Lowride » Sun Mar 14, 2004 11:19 pm

I recently had my A4 lowered with FK coilovers, the ABS warning light is now constantly on. Does anybody know why this is and what needs to be done to get it to go off

Thanks

recently fitted rs4 suspension and had the same problem. Mine turned out to be an ABS sensor that had come loose.

I reckon they have disconnected the sensor to fit the suspension, and not refitted it correctly. There is one on each wheel, and you will see it behind the disk near the struts. It'll probably be obvious as it is the only wire going off on the direction of the disk.

You can probably do it without removing the wheel if you park with two wheels on a kerb and slide under - you may get a bit dirty though :)
