B5 S4: Oil in BOV !

Hi guys,

I just changed my BOV's to 710n's

When taking off the old ones, one of them had oil in it ?? Could this be one of the turbos ? The car is totally standard and just reached 92K.

also the car doesnt seem to be holding the boost all the way throught the revs....it comes in hard then dies off ??

You will get a little oil in the intake from the breather, it's probably nothing to worry about.

Boost will taper off towards the redline as the K03 turbos can't keep up the pressure (they are only small after all). This is perfectly normal behaviour, however if it's something you've only just noticed then it is more likely to be a problem.
Do you have a boost gauge or Vagcom to measure exactly what boost you are running?
