RS 4 roof spoiler on a S4.

Post by AFAP18 » Tue Jan 27, 2004 9:33 pm

I was wondering if the RS 4 roof spoiler fits the S4, and if there are any gains at speed higher than 200 Km/h.
What suggestions have you got?

I have the RS4 roof spoiler on my S4. Fits perfectly.

I find the extra down force generated really kicks in at about 225km/h. I reckon there is so much extra downforce, that my car would be able to drive along upside down on the roof of a tunnel

SO it´s worth the money, right?
Cause I am getting addicted to speed , and usually drive around 240- 280.Got pics of your car with 18 Avus wheel?

That Men In Black car must have had one of those crazy RS4 spoilers too!

Serious question - does the spoiler reduce the build-up of dirt on the rear of the car?

No. Not at all, in my opinion. The back of my car is still the filthiest part of it at any given time. All you need is slightly damp ground, and it gets covered in sh1te.

Thanks, I won't bother then. It always annoys me how I can clean the car, go for a short drive, and then find a film of dirt all over the back! Then by Thurdsay when I do the weekly shop, I get dirty trousers when I load/unload the shopping.
