Wheel spacers?

Post by JonnyX » Mon Jan 19, 2004 10:33 am

Hi,

My S$ came with RS4 replicas. They are 8*18 and are
currently fitted with 225*40*18 tyres. The car also
came with 5mm wheel spacers all round. I am wondering
if these are really necessary?

Anyone know?

Cheers,

Jon

Not usually, unless there are clearance issues with upgraded brakes or the rims are not the correct offset for your car.

I've got 5mm spacers on the front of mine to clear the calipers - I have RS4 replicas. Don't remove them, they are there for a reason.
