New S4 owner

I've just become an owner of a S4 that was first registered in Jun 2001. I was wondering when the old shape A4/S4 (B5 ?) ended and the new model started. Originally I thought the new shape started in Apr 2001 but it looks like there were a few of the old shape unregistered until later.

The B6 A4 body style started in Mar 2001, so you obviously have one of the last B5 cars.

Hi John,

My B5 S4 was registered around 20th July 2001 (can't remember the exact day). I was fairly close to having one of the last ones off the line, but I think it was running for a few more weeks even then.
