k04 vs gt28r

has anyone used the garrett gt28rs instead of the k04 conversion? i dont think there's much difference in price of the turbo's

You'd have to get custom flanges welded onto your manifolds and downpipes if you fitted Garrett's, so you'd have to factor that into the price.

i was just looking at the turbo technics site and their hybrids the prices are not too bad
