steering squeek

When turning he steering wheel there is a squeeking/ rumble noise that sounds like its coming from behind the dash

Any ideas whats causing this

Full lock? I found ours is the power steering fluid had run low - which was actually caused by a leak in the pipes by the cooler bit.

No not on full lock, just when you turn the wheel slightly, usually on start up, just as you are pulling away, not always there either which is a pain

Squirt a load of silicone spray down the column, could be catching the cover or the top bush could be dry.
