want it slammed

Post by rotta » Mon Jan 19, 2009 11:54 am

ive had a search about and am strugling to find the info im after due to my complete noob-ness i want to slam my s4 but just above each wheel is a suspension arm that hardly gives me any clearance on my 235/18/40 oettinger wheels, how do you get around this problem? does this need changing to a different shaped arm or when installing coilovers does this not affect????

Cheers Chaps

It will not affect it. Only would go closer to the wheel if you put on a wheel with a higher offset or a chunkier tyre.

Just get some coilovers and then some spacers to pull the wheel out as it will look a bit better.

I have FK front shocks and H&R rears.

(got the rears super cheap hence the mix and match)

Yeah think of it like if you have 3 people in the back and stuff in the boot its not goint to rub. It just moves with the suspension and the wheel will not move any closer to it.
