Cayenne 6 pots, which disks?

Post by Mike159 » Mon Oct 20, 2008 10:36 pm

My recently aquired s4 has the Porsche Cayenne 6 pots on, the pads are fine but the disks are very worn. Ive had a search around and im not finding a straight answer. What disks do I need to buy? I think it is the ecs stage 4 kit the car has. So that would make the disks 352mm x 32mm. I cant find anyone selling replacement rotors for this setup. Can I just put b7 rs4 or c5 rs6 disks on? Porsche 993t?

I have heard they are easy to warp, how are you getting on with them? The car will be getting nurburgring treatment so I need them to stand up to some hammer.

While im here is the s8 rear brake upgrade upto serious stopping or is b7 rs4 setup or similar needed?

I have indeed. Once ive sold my big turbo golf I will start doing a few things to it. For now it just needs new disks!

With money the way it is at the moment im worried I will have to take peanuts for it though so I might end up with both for a while and leave the s4 as it is.

When I booked my old s4 in at mrc I wrote it off, I booked my golf in for mapping again to try and hit 500bhp and the headgasket went as the fans stopped working! I really dont want to book this s4 in anywhere who knows what will happen lol

More than likely! I dont want to disturb a perfectly healthy car in the search for more power and end up with something less reliable as its my only working car. But if a turbo fails then I will 100% go for k04's. Until then im gona leave it alone. Apart from maybe an rs4 roof spoiler, bigger back brakes and rs4 back seats. Although having said that if it wasnt for my other car leaving me massively out of pocket I would have upgraded asap
