There is a group buy gathering post in aw, http://www.audiworld.com/forum/s4.html I might bite if there are not good ones closer and the price is good. I've heard spec clutches are stock like but can handle more than RS4 clutch.
One question though. Is my98 clutch the same as later ones? spec doesn't list my98, maybe because NA models are 2000 -->
what good clutch options do we have?

Yes it is, I've used a RS4 clutch on my '98 S4
Re: what good clutch options do we have?
You had k04s right? Did the rs4 clutch do its job with your setup and did you put any torture on it?
Re: what good clutch options do we have?
Keyser, you've been very quiet for a while - I thought you got rid of your highly modified A4/S4(?)
Do you still have the report you did on how to drop the engine enough to swap turbos ? Would be gr8 if you could post it here

smurfbus: yes, you can use RS4 clutch together with K04's and it does its wonderful job
nige yes I did get rid of it. I used to call it A4Q biturbo hybrid - as it was a S4 with RS4 body, and engine parts, much of a custom work. An A4Q as S4s never had its own catalog in Audi service software and could be found under A4Q, unlike the RS4s.
I've sold the car to my friend and it became the fastest S4 known on the net, check this links:

currently taking care of a E36 BMW 325 coupe, it's already turbocharged and running faster than M3s E36 and E46
