I am surprised you haven't seen one in two year though. I have only been on here a year or so and seen quite a few come and go in that time. There was three when I originally started looking last year, one I missed as I did the thing I always do..decide I want a car THEN try and work out the finance side of stuff LOL, then had the choice of the two, the one I have and another in silver down in Plymouth IIRC...those came up within about a week of each over.

Well I have, but missed them for various reasons. Changed my mind on what I'm looking for being one of them...

I keep flitting between getting a heavily modded one, and getting a very low mileage one with no mods.

Have missed 2 good heavily modded one now, and nearly bought a 36,000 miler from an Audi dealer a while back. Price was almost 12,000 though.....

I think i'll give this new one a miss too lol. At the end of the day I'm gonna ruin the value by modding it, and spend a fortune in the process.

I'm also buying some kind of kit car (Caterham / MAC#1 / MNR) so I can never decide which to spend more money on.

I'm useless I know......

you a bird Carpy???

I'm having trouble at the mo I really want another S4. There are loads of good ones about at the moment.
I'm having trouble convincing the g/f she keeps moving the goal posts. There is a tidy dark blue one with recaros on the bay, face lift and acceptable miles, this one looks to big......................... There is the red one in surrey with 480 ish hp but its red with grey interior............... or there is the, "i cant reverse park" avant for peanuts that would make a good project but its to blue hahahahah. I can't bloody win.

The point I'm trying to make is (it's in there somewhere) just keep plodding away I'm sure one will turn up. The moon better be in the right phase though or we are all scuppered.
Liam.

Watch out for that red one. Discussed on here previously!

I really want to buy one from someone on here as even a full Audi history doesn't really mean much now.

Oi you lot thats quite enough of that.

You know what it's like...........money comes and goes all the time so budget changes etc. I'm self employed which has it's ups and downs financially so one month I'm thinking about a 500bhp S4 and the next month I'm wondering if I can afford a Fiesta.

I've also had a restoration project I've been working on which is pretty much finished but I've been driving it so not needed to sort out the S4 in any hurry......

I ended up buying the S4 at the begining of this thread.I picked it up yesterday.
Martin who owned the car works all over the country hence why he has an address in scotland but is based in lincolnshire. (I was a bit wary at first)
I had the same problem when i asked him for the reg number, he didnt want to give it out over the phone, but i did Hpi it after i'd been to look at it and it all came back fine.
It's is a totally genuine car with fsh all old mots, loads of receipts spare keys and master keys etc and is as mint as it is in the photos.
No it doesnt have Bose, sunroof or recaros, but i can live with that as it's such a nice original straight car :D
Ps i paid £6500 for it which i didnt think was too bad.

Nice purchase. I would have given him £6500 in a flash but he wouldn't budge a penny below £9500, and had the car up for £11,000 !! I just couldn't pay that much knowing the car would plummet in value so had to walk away.

Need to sort that aerial first !

Wow some loss he took there. The guy was so cagey I did wonder about him. Only wanted to meet at a service station & wouldn't even give me the reg plate let alone VIN number etc. Glad the car is a goodun anyway.

Why not just take off that silly aerial and get a proper one!
