S4 Handbrake cable fault/replacement

Post by snbS4 » Tue May 06, 2008 1:14 pm

Hi All
Does anyone have a link to replacing the handbrake cables on a '99 S4 please? Diagrams especially.
It looks as if one of mine has either come off the connection (or maybe the end of the cable has come off?) at the handbrake lever since the cable is not even trying at the caliper end and the quadrant or whatever is inside goes cock-eyed as soon as the cable starts to be pulled.
It's the handbrake lever end that I think I would like more details on please.
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers
Simon
