OK, for all you who are interested in the APR snub mount, I can advise that a friend will be returning from the US in November and has agreed to bring the '$1 rubber thingies' back with him. If you are still interested, then I will need payment up front - send me a PM and I will send you my details.
I calculate that $50 = £30.17 (exchange rate used is 1 GBP = 1.65741 USD), so if we round it up to £35 to cover the internal US postage and a few bob for his troubles, I think that is fair - anyone disagree ?
p.s. strange that Awesome can do it for £50+VAT, as I spoke to Star Performance last week about this and they quoted me £75 incl VAT & delivery ??

Re: Snub mounts
Nige, I'll have one too. PM me details of where what to do, thanks...
Re: Snub mounts
I'm very interested in hearing the first report of the snub. I am concerned about the Audiworld review which reported that the vibration was "unacceptable".

Re: Snub mounts
Dippy, the snub mount instructions refer to shaving a small amount from the snub to accommodate different fitments on different cars and suggests that excess vibration can be cured. However, I don't fancy doing the job a few times for trial and error....
Re: Snub mounts
Hmmm...
That discourages me as it seems almost certain that there will be some increased vibration.
If I go ahead then I won't be doing it myself - I'll leave that to AmD. Maybe I should ask AmD about the vibration and see what their opinion is...

Re: Snub mounts
I seem to recall when I read the instructions that you do not need to completely reassemble everything to check it is OK. Still a PITA though. My biggest worry is the removal and refitment of the bumper, as you certainly wouldn't want to drop it or scratch it in any way
