Audi Cant get a reading from My S4

I have taken my 1999 S4 to Audi to get a diagnostics as the ABS and Airbag lights are both on. I guess the computer is screwed?? They say they can not get any readings from my car at all. They do not have time ot look at it and I have to wait till Thursday. I am worried that it may be expensive and I do not have a warranty. Anyone any suggestions??

Sorry to hear about the problems with your car. Don't you just love computers and electronics LOL.

Whereabouts are you - you could try taking it to a good independent Audi specialist like QS Tuning or AMD who may be able to advise/look at it more quickly.

Hi Shamsa - i had a problem much like the one your having. The ABS light & alarm kept coming on & Audi couldn't get a reading from the computer - in the end i brought it to Elite motor tune in Northampton (01604 757510) They diagnosed a problem with the ABS pump, im not sure if there was a problem with the computer as well, but mine had a warranty so i wasn't to bothered. They did tell me that the cost would vary from £300-£900 depending on wether or not they used brand new parts to repair it. Sorry this is a bit vague - give them a ring, they can probably advise.
