RS4 Bumper

Post by TurkS4 » Tue Jul 22, 2003 12:13 pm

Hi Gents,

Just seen this on VAG-com and was wondering if this would fit straight onto a S4 without the need for further modifications?.

Just the ticket to sexy up our cars!!!!

I believe the RS4 bumper flares out at sides to cater for the boyed up ( ) wheel arches on the RS4. Looking at that picture, you can see what I mean

I've been looking into this. Do a search on Audiworld.com

It would appear that one lad in particular has acheived it by adding spacer washers. Or at least the bodyshop he put his car into achieved it and they told him they added 20mm washers. I'm just not convinced. I don't understand how the wheel arch radius of the RS4 bumper would match that of the S4 if the whole bumber is moved forward by 20mm spacers?

A number off lads have fitted an RS4 bumper but they have also fitted the matching wings as they are quite a bit wider.

But that's just my opinion.
