PS I too had my DVs fitted by AMD but by the time I came round to getting the work done. AMD had changed over to Hyperboost believing the heat sink fins were a better idea.

Can't argue with that.

Whilst I agree that the fins look like a good idea, I'm not sure that there's any evidence to suggest that heat or heat dissipation is a problem for the DVs. However as I noted, the Forge valves are large enough top cause a bend in the vacuum hose on the drivers side. When I saw the Hyperboost valve I thought that the extra size due to the fins would make the problem even worse - and maybe your experience proves this?
On that alone I wish I had the Forge DV's. It will be interesting to see if Hyperboost are as good.

From what I've read (not sure if Kingfisher's links are what I've read as I can't reach them from work [img]images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]), the Hyperboost is allegedly a copy of the Forge. Someone opened them up and found them to be identical internally.
