Erractic Speedo

Has anyone had any problems with their speedo dying for a few seconds? It then coming back to life, seems like a loose connection and only happens occasionally.

If so what would be the fix?

Mine twitches sometimes but only occasionally so I have never bothered looking into it. However the main reason for this is that it is totally electronically controlled. So if the cause has nothing to do with your speed sensor (assuming that this would cause a DTC), then the problem will be in the dash unit and the solution is to replace the whole thing - and they ain't cheap. It is possible that the real source of the problem is the ECU - a glitch in the software, but that's pure speculation on my part.
