Re: RS4 Wheels on S4
Just moving this back to the top since we have been talking wheels for a day or two.
That Achtuning car does look good.

Do you know of any 8.5 x 18 wheels that fit lowered S4's ?
Mine will have H&R coilovers on, lowered 30mm or so.
You put 8 x 18 OZ on didn't you ?

Re: RS4 Wheels on S4
David ... yes, I'm runing 18x8 OZ SLs with lowered suspension (MTM kit). I get slight rubbing up front during turns when the suspension is near full compression.
As for 18x8.5, several people are running Sportec and BBS in that size with offsets from ET35 to Et32. Almost everyone I know with 8.5" width and lowered suspension have had to roll the fender arches though. I'm not aware of an 8.5" wide alloy with an offset lower than 35mm that will also clear the front brake calipers. :-/

Re: RS4 Wheels on S4
Well ... with coilovers at least you can adjust the ride height to accomodate a greater range of tire & wheel applications, though you might not be able to drop the car as low as you'd like if running an aggressive setup (like 18x8.5 with offset greater than ET32).
I'm lower than 30mm below stock, but running a fixed-height system and thus can't adjust.
