Had a nice run tonight with an Alfa Brera 3.2. As it is, I pulled very nicely away from him, but I wouldnt be too confident without a s/s exhaust and custom map. If my car was standard it would have been neck and neck, or slightly in his favour. The wonders of MRC magic.

Not kicked by, but surprised by a Seat Leon Cupra R.

Caught up with one on my way to work. He had obviously been pootling along and I came up on him pretty quick. It wasn't clear to pass, so I knocked it into 6 and was about to pootle along behind until it was clear to pass (hadn't noticed the Cupra or the R at this point).

Anyway, it must have been the speed I came up on him, but he suddenly changed his mind and decided to speed up. Of course, I had just gone into 6th at about 40 mph, so he had a head start.

I had no problem catching/keeping up once I had knocked it back down to 4th, but I was surprised at how quick he pulled away. Once I caught up I noticed the Cupra R badge.

No problem keeping up, but I would have struggled to get past on these country roads.
