Just noticed.

Great achievement, considering how few B5's there are around.

There is a huge amount of knowledge in the forum and it's a great credit to everyone who has posted.

Are we on course to catch up with the B5 RS4 forum ? :-)

I've learnt a ton of things from this forum, and had great advice and guidance from the posters here too. Thanks all :)

Long live the B5!

This forum, whether your active or passive, is just mint. i used to work at the local stealers before my pesent job and now been off the spanners for about 10 years but the brains here far exeeded my expectations and have learnt more here than in the garage!!!
the S4 is a complicated beast and tuning it sometimes seems rocket science but the s4 forum gives a big brother to lean on. :D

thanks all.

Thanks to this site I saved myself £3k when my gearbox went!

Its the best source for the S4 anywhere by far.

Thanks to all who contribute!

I'll second all that!

As a relative newbie and complete numbskull when it comes to mechanics (no, you wouldnt trust your brake upgrade with me!), I have found this forum invaluable, from the outset when I was buying the S4, with diagnosing problems, to advice on upgrades. Thanks to all who have contributed.

Apart from the few on here, such as Dippy and Mihnea, whose combined lack of knowledge about the S4 could be written on the back of a very small postage stamp (and would probably include issues such as "Best quality floor mats for the S4 B5"!), this forum is all about learning from and helping others. I hope that one day I will be able to put something back into this community and impart some of my experience and knowledge to others.
In the meantime, THANKS GUYS!

As for over-taking the B5 RS4, my son once did it on GT4 Playstation, but then I was driving the RS4 and my fingers still havent got the idea of using that tiny button as a steering wheel!

I noticed this last night when looking at the forum and the comments in that BUMP thread, very impressive... equally impressive is that the B7 has already overtaken the RS6.

I can only second the views above (hope you dont mind me posting here) that the info on the site is superb and has saved me a small fortune to date. And very entertaining at times!
