I can vouch for that...!

This has turned into a excellent thread, both in terms of technical content and discussion as well as good banter

Looking forward to the next one Julian... :)

I think i'm gonna resign as "resident researcher" Clive - give someone else a go (especially someone with vagcom!) - will also reduce my number of posts to the site which i have no doubt will please many forum members

why do you need vagcom to research brakes ????? which I think is gonna have to be my next little project (on 4 wheels) ........ a good budget brake upgrade

I'd also say that it would make you ass-dyno redundant as you'd have nothing to log on here ........

I don't - i was referring to mods such as the one described in this post!!!

That was the point i was making: reduce my amount of posts. As Dr-Al pointed out: i post TOO much!!!

Might be on to something here, who’s betting Dr Al will be along with a Maplins pressure transducer and a two hundred word dissertation on thermodynamics...

No, you keep going Julian  - I always look out for your posts too...I, for one, would be disappointed to see you resign your acquired post...in fact, part of the fun is guessing what you're going to come up with next  and of course Dr-Al's measured scientific responses :)

Hey Julian,

it sounds like we have a double act in the making...

With your charm and my science, maybe we could do a Brainiac-like spot on the Audi channel

But I guess we'd have to blow up Beemers & Scoobys instead of caravans :FIREdevil:
