:knob:

Anyone know of any GOOD bodywork companies / people who can repair this? in York/Leeds/Hull area? I think im fairly lucky in one respect that it doesnt appear to have gone down to the bodywork metal!

Still not happy though!

I had that happe to my old car twice but about 5 large scratches.

Last week someone dented my front pass side arch and scratched the bumper out side my house. Am still annoyed about it!!

Dan, I know exactly how you feel mate. I've had people key scratch, paint strip, smash etc etc etc most of my cars!

Since I got my car the other day I am so paranoid about waking up and finding it vandelised!

Some times I wonder if there really is any point in us buying nice cars because we know sooner or later some jealous pr1ck, teenage thug, former partner will know that the best way to truly p1ss us off is to damage our car!!!

Mate, look on the net for those blokes who will come round to yours and will touch up the scratch. I know that if you have metallic or pearl paint, having it resprayed will mean having a noticeable difference in colour. It'll also be double expensive for you mate cuz the bu**ers have done both panels - don't mean to make you feel any worse, but I guess it's worth weighing up all the options.

Bummer.

Is it vandalism or has someone 'crashed' in to the car? The scratch looks handmade but the damage to the strip along the door looks like it has been done by another car.

Either way it sucks. Best of luck getting a good (cheap) fix.

Someone did the same to my brothers virtually new 200Sx years ago, and because it was metallic/flip, he had to have the whole side of the car painted .....

Fingers crossed for a cheapish/quality repair! You going through your insurance?
