Boost Leak fixed, Star RR results posted

Post by BigDaz » Tue Aug 22, 2006 3:11 pm

Well, I changed the TBB (burst at bottom) & F pipe (looked Ok but changed it anyway)
I took my Car to Star Performance for an ECU reset & RR to check it out.
Results:-
Max Power 318 BHP at 98mph or 5290rpm :D
Max Torque 372 lbf-ft at 75mph or 4050rpm :D :D
Max Maf reading 239.11

Feels ace now with 4th gear being brutal :D

Still got 32.3 mpg on the way home (45 miles or so) with plenty of playing

a well chuffed Daz :D

Are those figures at the wheels, if not what are the figures at the wheels?

What mods do you have?
Present: 2010 Ice silver B8 S4 s-tronic saloon (standard)
Past: 1998 Agate grey B5 S4 saloon (MRC tuned)
Hers: 2011 Volcano red 8P A3 Sportback 2.0 TDI 170 sport quattro

It will prob go down a bit with more miles to average over ( and a lot of the 45 was motorway at 70+ish   ), but I was getting 27 even with the boost leak.

Wheel figure is 225 bhp with drag output at 88 bhp

Zero, MAF is 2 weeks old , so I would hope that is unlikely - maybe I am reading the log thing wrong but thats the highest number on it (G70) Ooops, Just seen a 244 below it. I thought 208-220 was the reading for a std car.

Mods are Miltech single exhaust 710n's & looks like a remap too LOL - Jim @ Star said it was a good map!? Boost is stable at 1.17 Bar

Standard car should read about 210 and a chipped car about 250-260 with a miltek.

Odd that its a new MAF?? Not sure what else could cause it? Results are good though... certainly making decent power.

MAF does look low. Though you obvoisly have the power there.
