Tyres of choice??

Post by Mattp » Wed Apr 16, 2003 11:30 pm

Its time to buy four new shoes for my pride and joy. Ive been running Toyos on the back and Eagle F1's on the front for the last year or so but I'm keen to get some opinion on what people are running.

What are the tyres of choice??

I'm in the same situation, although as I'm currently unemployed I'm leaving mine until they REALLY are too worn.

I've been running Michelins which I've been happy with, but had been considering the Bridgestone S03s which a lot of people have been raving about. However from my reading it appears that the Toyo Proxes are better performers so that's what I'll be getting (soon hopefully).
2001 Silver S4 Avant
AmD remap, APR R1 DVs, APR bipipe, Full Miltek exhaust
H&R coilovers, AWE DTS, Porsche front brakes, Short-shifter, 18" RS4 replicas
Defi-HUD boost gauge / turbo-timer (with afterrun pump modification), Phatbox

I've just had to put 4 on, and could only get P zero's in the time available to me, and though I've seen them criticised elsewhere on here I think they seem ok so far to me...
Well, it's a smashing car
