If you guys warp your stock rotors, grab some Zimmerman cross drilled rotors. Dont have to change calipers or anything, and they won't warp. Zimmerman is good stuff, they make the rotors for BMW and they arent a bad price.

Are these rotors drilled, or cast with the holes?

(i don't like drilled rotors as they fill with crap and then crack)

Guys check out this very interesting article on warped brakes and bedding in procedure. Goes completely against what I have thought for years!

I have read that before, and it seems to come down to semantics. Whether the disc is actually "warped" or whether it has "uneven deposits" still causes the same feel in the pedal, and appears to still be related to disc manufactuure quality. In either case, the disc is fairly unservicable unless it is lathed true again. It seems audi discs are very prone to becoming deformed sadly...

while the pedal feel may be the same the fixes are different. You can, by following the instructions in the link, 'scrub' your discs clean.

A warped disc needs to be machined.

I do think that either problem can be caused by incorrect bedding in of the discs and pads.
