Anybody got any suggestions for what to use to clean the top of the dash? I've got a couple of marks that look suspiciously like fingerprints that I'd like to get rid of.
Cheers, Pete
Oh yeah, its a B7 RS4

Hi Pete,

The dash can be a strange one as you don't want to make it glossy with some cheap Halfords product. I use a damp Chamois over my dash to bring it back to matte and get the dust off. If you want to go a bit more "detaily" then Jeff's Werkstat Prime is a cracking product for dash and trim. It's not cheap mind.

Mart.

Has anyone used 'Simoniz Car DashBoard Foaming Cleaner Matt Finish'? Not used it yet but it's on my shopping list and some feedback would be good to save me adding to the 'crap car product grave yard' I have built up...

Car Pro PERL or Aerospace 303 is what I normally use. Both good for inside and outer trim but the formar needs diluting to differing concentrations dependent on what you are using it for.

carpro perl is good for interior and exterior but i have found that you have to get the dilution ratio bang on as i have seen failure on a few exterior trim parts...interior though as is requested here is 1:5 and is pretty much unbeatable value for money....

I use perl for exterior and it can streak but looks great if it doesn't.. I use poorboys natural look dressing for interior
