Just thought I would share this from a while back....

And I mean a while back....this was a restoration that a friend of mine had done and got a so called painter to paint it for him....suffice to say the chap painted trucks for a living....now you will have to excuse the lack of pictures during the machine work etc as for some reason idiot here never actually thought of taking any....dont know what got into me but this had a full wet sand and many stages of machine polishing....now although there are no pictures of the wet sand its plainly obvious it needed it due to the condition the painter left it in....any way cracking on....
Interior was pretty bad...30 yrs of badness so it was stripped out and attacked with G101 and my trusted Bissel Pro Heat....

And when it was all done the interior came up kinda sweet....sorry about the picture quality....

Any whoo....the paintwork when I got to work on it looked a little like this after all the rest of the work had been done body work wise....ok it was painted where it stood but he could have still put some paint on it....

It was at this point I got in a little closer just to capture how bad the paintwork really was....again sorry for the lack of pictures....

So then after many hrs of wet sanding and polishing I ended up with a not so "Orange Peeled" orange Crapi....

Engine bay was tickled over but while the block was out it got a huge clean before it went back in....i think somewhere in the region of 8hrs just for the block alone....it looked like this afterwards....

As you can see not perfect due to the amount or not the amount of paint I had to work with but a huge huge improvement....
Thanks for looking....
