I have recently taken delivery of my new RS3.

The dealership were plugging the SMARTProtect cover to cover light scratches, dents, scuffs (up to 15 cm) and chips (all excluding the bonnet, roof and wheels as they are diamond cut) for £349 for 3 years cover.

Does anyone have any experience of this cover? It is provided by a company called autoprotect.

Not sure if this is gonna be worthwhile getting, but with the tightly packed car parks at crimbo time....

you already have insurance for your car, its the law ....

why are you buying more insurance for the same thing ?

Seen a lot of these ensurance companies now, just more money for old rope and little return. Keep your cash in your pocket mate or if you want to give it away make a charitable donation to the Crusade Against Suffering and Hardship aka CASH payable to the charity's founder, ME!
