I've just got a Megs G220 DA polisher, but what's the best way of cleaning the pads after use?
Do you just bung them in the washing machine on a cool wash?

Even on a cool wash you're likely to damage the adhesive between pad and velcro backing if you chuck 'em in the washing machine.
Don't bother buying this product, but check out the how-to-use on this link (

Thanks for that. Will try the technique, but as you say, can probably save myself £1.50 on the packet of cleaning powder!

Personally I use Chemical Guys Pad Cleaner. Used to use the washing machine method but didn't always get the oils / residue out of the pad.
Get a bowl, dilute the CG cleaner fluid with water, put your pads in, leave 15 mins, scrub the pads (I use a toothbrush) and then rinse thoroughly with water and leave to dry. Job's a good 'un.
