Post by steve_70 » Sun Apr 17, 2011 10:58 pm

Hi all :bigwave:

Was back at MRC for Part 2 of this B5 RS4 Avant detail for a forum member, Part 1 was exterior detail I had posted up previously.

This 2nd part of the detail was to focus on the engine bay and the interior and to give the exterior a mantenance detail as it was very dusty and collected dirt from being sat outside and worked on in the workshop.

Products used:

LSP top-up : Jeffs Wekstatt Acryllic Trigger Spray Sealant

Tyres, rubber, exterior plastics/ trim, window rubbers/ trim: Espuma APC G202 (clean), Carpro PERL (Dress)

External Glass Sealant : Jeffs Werkstatt Acryllic Jett Trigger Spray Sealant

Internal Glass: Espuma Crystal Clean

Interior - Dash, Doors, Leather & Carpets: Espuma APC G202, Carpro PERL, Espuma Fabricare, Espuma Fresh Odour Neutraliser/ Scent

All shuts: Jeffs Werkstatt Acryllic Prime Strong Sealant

Engine Bay: Espuma APC G202, Megs Wheel Brightner, Optimum No Rinse (ONR), Carpro PERL, Jeffs Wekstatt AcryllicPrime Strong Sealant & Trigger Spray Sealant

Thanks.

I am happy with it, until the net product comes along. Always trying new products to find the right finish. Some have commented that the sheen is not for them, and prefer a more oem matt. satin finish so may look at some products for those that like less bling.
