Leather creases

Hi,
The seats in my RS4 have a few small creases. These are mainly around the side bolsters and at the front of the seat where my knees bend.
I've read a lot about the liquid leather product. I thinking of buying the cleaner and the conditioner(?). Has anyone used these products to remove small creases etc. I really want the seats back to how they were out of factory (or as close as I can get them!).
Any comments would be great. Cheers.

I bought some of the liquid leather (Gliptone) stuff last week
Have done the rear seats, which didn't look too bad, but the Gliptone stuff has brought it up really well!
Weill impressed with the stuff.
Going to do the front seats in this coming week, as thats where the most damage is! Like you on the bolsters. And being silver leather doesn't help!
I'll let you know, but as said, so far its been great. You won't go wrong. The conditioner is really good aswell, doesn't make it shiny, or slippery. Like the new matt look.

Top notch. I'm prob not going to have time to do it for a couple of weeks. So if you get chance to do some before and after pics I'm sure they'd be lots of us interested in seeing them! I'll let you know how I get on.

OK, will bear that in mind.
TBH I'll probably only have time to do it this weekend, so will keep this posted.

I use gliptone leather cleaner and conditioner with a small brush.
I bought them from Elite Car Care.
Bloody fantastic stuff. My back seats in my s4 were on the shiny hard side and this stuff, if worked in properly brought them out to the factory finish soft matt leather.
You will need to set aside a few hours to do it properly. I took my back seats out and sat down in the dining room infront of the TV.

LOL......exactly the same in every way!
Seats out and in the dinning room......allowed a few hours, and then recodnitioned the next day too!
Hence why I'm saying, got to do the fronts now!
Excellent stuff for sure.....I'm amazed!
Brush for me too.....tried with a cloth, but wasn't taking it out of the grain.

Right spent some of the weekedn trying to get the seats in a better condition.
Pics to follow.
As you'll see it's made a huge difference, but not how I'd like it to be! For what Gliptone costs, you probably can't go wrong. But I'm not entirely happy, so looks like a retrim for me!

I would say that was pretty impressive from a leather feed alone. You'll never get rid of the creases altogether without a retrim as you say.

Yep
Hence why I said, I'm more than happy with what Gliptone has done. It's amazing stuff. It's just neglect from previous owners thats let it down.
I've removed the cover already, and the backrest foam has also seen better days. Going to order new tomorrow, and then get it retrimmed.

I'd say that's pretty amazing really given the creases in the seats to start off with. I think I've probably caught mine at a point where they'll come up as new looking at these pictures.
This is really really useful stuff Virdee. I think thanks from everyone for taking the time to put the pics on (and me in particular).
I'm still waiting to get time to do mine but I'll try and put similar pictures up when I do. Mine are just 3 years plus so no damage really, just need a new lease of life.
Virdee - exactly which Gliptone products have you used and what did you use to apply them?

Yes no doubt I am well impressed with the outcome based on the price paid for Gliptone.
No worries for the pics, glad to be of help. As said the passenger side has come up great, and pretty much like new.
I stripped the backrest yesterday, and found the foam was fcuked. So ordered all 3 pieces of the foam. Took my leather cover to my retrimmer, who tried to remove the creases. It wassn't possible. So going to order a new one tomorrow. £307+VAT!
Yep as said mine has been neglected in the past and has gone too far. Yours seem to be at the right time for some TLC!
I've basically got the G11 Leather cleaner, and G12 Leather conditioner. Or vice versa
As previously mentioned, I didn't get good results from a cloth as instructed by Gliptone. So in the end I resorted to a nail brush, which can be used with no problems. Used a drying towel (Microfibre) to clean them after each rub down. And rinsed the drying towel (damp) every time I used it to clean off the cleaner
Let me know if you have any other Q's
