I have cream seatbelts which are looking pretty grubby. Any tips/tricks/products to use?

Mine are silver and were proper grubby - noticable when they were pulled out fully.

To clean them, I pulled them out fully and bungeed them through the hole in the end to the garage. I then got some carpet cleaner, fabric cleaner or similar and a nail brush and waited for everyone in my culdesac to go out for the day before I started scrubbing (you know they will take the p&$$).

They were then rinsed and left to dry (about an hour). Good as new now.
