Site recommended/trader for full paint correction

Post by GardinerG » Sun Apr 13, 2008 8:39 am

Hi all,

Are there any Surrey or Hants recommended detailers? (traders on RS246 with references welcome  !)

I know most are mobile but I wouldn't want them travelling half way round the country to get here. It's that with my birthday coming up I just thought what I would really like is a car that looks like new! ;-)

CheeRS for the linky bobbler. :beerchug: Any 1st hand recommends from this board? I've asked a few guys from that link and the quotes are coming in at £350/375. Is this a bit high or normal for a full exterior correction detail on a '6?

(I'm a n00b to this stuff!)

I dont want to shout about it, but I was quoted £350 for 10 hours for my RS4......but after seeing the guys work, etc I managed to catch my breath and have arranged to call him in a few weeks once some overtime has been paid.
Seems to be about right, I'd say...

I use a Auto Detail... He did my mk5 Golf, Doing my Mums Merc and doing my S4 shortly... Prices are great and he spends most of his time doing Bentley/Porsches etc... he works around Windsor/Slough but does travel... http://www.auto-detail.co.uk/

Have a look at his site and give him a call for a quote, Tell him Jamie recommended him and he should do a you a good deal

Many people from my bike club use MotoSpa, and having seen the results they earn their money.
They have a car side too.

I have not used them personally, but we have a presentation by them this coming Thursday.
If you can find your way to Ripley Village Hall for 8pm, come along and have a look see.
Please ask for me (John W) on coming in the door / at the canteen.

Hope that helps ;)

I used Paul Dalton of Miracle Detail - www.miracledetail.co.uk - certainly not cheap, but one of the highest regarded detailers in the detailing community. Highly recommended.
