Swissvax is fantastic stuff and it is not easy to be approved by them as a detailer so he must be good. I be u will be amazed with the results. Post pics!

Not Swiss Toni!! Its great stuff, I have been using it and two of their authorised dealers for 6 years now.... if you have not done it before, spend some time with him and learn how to keep on top of it when he has finished....

yeh that was the plan, gunna stay with him all day i think. see how the pros do it propperly. think its gunna be about £250 but thats for a correction detail and to remove some scratches.

£250 is a bargain for a full correction, would've expected it to be nearer double that. What wax did you opt for ?

That does sound a blooming good price. Our "local" (its Bristol) Swissvax place charges £415 to £490 (probably be the higher price on the Avant model) thats using Best Of Show wax as standard - http://www.cliftoncarcare.com/servicecost.html
£250 I would be letting him do it. It was costing above £400 I would get my own kit (random orbit polisher like a Meguirs G220/PC/UDM) and have a bash at it, which is what I am going to do when funds allow.

using the PC etc u need to have some patience. The audi paint is rock hard and a PC takes it time to make an impact. Rotary is the way to go but u have to practice a massive amount as this can quite easily burn through the paint if your not careful
