 Ouch, normally just leave a wet cloth sat on it for 5 mins then it should simply wipe away without any issue if its literally only been on the car that day. I fear you may have gone a little far with T-Cut, a very gentle polish and a good coat of wax should be adequate to detail this away now, nothing special required. Good luck!

quatt,

I have had the same issue - on the rear dor of my black avant. I was away for a weekend and noticed it when i got back. The bird mess leaves a dulled patch which wont polish up or be removed.

Ive tried meguiars and diamondbrite on it to no avail. Im off to the dealer today for some other issues, and going to ask them nicely to polish it for me.

Ive got some bird lime neutraliser now from Supaguard - spray on, wait 1 min and wipe off - and seems to do the trick leaving no marks at all.
