Silk Wax

Post by SteveH » Sat Oct 07, 2006 4:43 pm

Bought my first "bag" of Swissol wax... Was amazed when it was delivered in its silken bag  Time to roll my sleeves up now!

Job done! I can't believe the difference this stuff makes... First used the Swissol pre-wax oil, was pretty hard work but cleaned the car up good; then the wax, was very easy to use and it looks absolutely brilliant :kissmyrings: A photograph wouldnt do it justice, the finish is like a car you see at a motor show, its blinding in the sun 8)

Dare I say it, this is the first time that I have personally used a proper wax  , with previous cars I have always been pretty lazy and used thinks a variety of brands with spray-applied waxes or cheap polishes-waxes for around a tenner :dung: . Had the RS6 professionally detailed earlier in the year (cheers dave), and thought that it was about time that I re-waxed it myself with some proper stuff. Well worth the extra dollar!!!

A dry weekend? Lucky man Steve!

Just happy the package eventually arrived and you're pleased with the results.
