whats the best?
Right, been reading through the various sites about polishing products and there are so many products claiming there the best and so on. So what is the best in your opinion? There are some very expensive caranuba waxes from zymol and so on does anyone use these? I use meguiars at the moment which is good but many people are saying mothers products are the ones to go for? All, or a lot of the pro detailers are using zymol so is this the one to go. I need my beast looking its best for the summer so what does everyone think?
RE: whats the best?

beleive it or not:
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/product_te ... waxes.html
and it's not the first time I've heard good things about it.
I'm using the usual stuff, meguires, mainly and Mer. I think for day to day car care, they're all the bloody same to us non pros, but some things I believe are MUST HAVES:
Meguires gold class shampoo.
Wash Mits
A good chamois
Microfibres
Clay bar.

everywhere sells them now, tesco, halfords. of course the pros would probably only using ones from Katmandu weaved from left handed silk worms , but they are essentially very soft cloths to wash/polish/wax with.

Thats a good article but i dont think it really reflects the market. Really there are a few things to do before polish i.e clay bar and so on, so maybe some of these polishes will perform better after the previous stages had been performed. They also seem to bring value for money into things when doing there evaluation which to me has no relevance as i dont mind paying more as long as it does the job. A good read though and maybe turtle wax will be my quick fix solution when i have not got time to the full process

Took me 6 hours but i finally got round to doing my car today in all my new cleaning stuff. I used turtle wax shampoo, megs clay bar (exceptional bit of kit) megs paint cleaner, mothers sealer and glaze, P21s wax and Mothers reflections top coat. The clay bar is qulaity makes the paint so smooth and the rest of the job is so easy after doing that. What do u think?
