If they are out of business and owing a number of decent folk money (as is suggested elsewhere on this forum) why oh why is this website still hosting their advertising ???????????????

I notice the thread below has been locked which is all well and good provided browsers to the site know what is going on.

Can someone enlighten me as I came very close to ordering some stuff based on the advertising on rs246

Other than the banner advertising I notice the 'sticky' above is also inviting browsers to purchase from Bushy's company so that probably should become 'unstuck'.

Sorry for causing you administrators this bother but something probably should be done about this !

I believe that extreme car car is now owned by Clean & Shiny( another meguiars retailer) so i think its safe to order from them.
Bushy is unfortunately uncontactable at the present time, his work commitments have taken priority over what was a part time venture.
The advertising banner will be eventually removed as Clean and Shiny are not paying anything to RS246 at the moment.

With all due respect, you would not have been able to order anything, and would have lost no money, so wind your horns in.......... had you been around a little longer, you would know that all the users here are genuine and honest

My horns were never out but thanks anyway. I simply found it odd that the site continued to host advertising from a company that clearly wasnt trading any longer and much of this forum was previously directing members to using them. Dont think being around for longer has much to do with it but your knowledge of all other users and their ethics geatly appreciated.

Hi,

Clean and Shiny currently has no dealings with Extreme Car Care. We tried to help Bushy out but we were a bit late and things seemed to have gone a bit further than we had initially anticipated. Therefore we declined the responsibilty of ownership.

We are still offering the same discounts to car forums as Bushy did if that helps!
