I've been using this for a while now - it costs me about £9 a gallon so it lasts for ages and cuts through the brake dust effortlessly.

But I seem to remember that it is very acidic and not recommended for some types of wheel. But if it is rinsed off properly can it really do any harm? [img]images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

Anyone have any experience of using this stuff?

Also advisable to keep it of your piantwork. Ive used it a couple of times but have taken my wheels off completely so as to clean them fully on the inner rims and made sure they were rinsed propely. Think it either chromed or magnesium rims your not suppose to use it with.

If you've got the 19" wheels on your M3 then using Wonderwheels is really bad news as it will attack the lacquer. Once the lacquer seal has been breached on the 19" BMW wheel the inner polished finish will corrode leaving a whitish stain which will gradually spread underneath the remaning lacquer. After that the only real cure is a new wheel at £425 ! I use Zymol wheel cleaner which is brilliant and is very kind to the wheels.

I found with wonder wheels after 24months of use on my 206 alloys they shined less.... so i didnt use them on my S3 alloys.... im going to get some of the meguires wheel wax and hope that works [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

2 years isn't too bad! Wouldn't keep a car much longer than that anyway... If it's easier I'd stick with it, maybe alternatively with another product, I find wonder wheels gets all the crap out of all the nooks.
