I now have a 2002 S6 and although its very early days I am very pleased with it (6 cars in last 2 years including new M3 and nearly new M5. Iam sure this topic has already been discussed but my aluminium (?) mirrors look water stained - what is the best product to polish them with ?

2002 Nemo S6 (replaced 2002 M5 that replaced 2002 M3 that replaced 1999 C43 AMG)- all in one year! (stupid boy)

any good polish should do it
However something like Meguiars Cleaner Paste will remove any oxidisation and then protect it
It sounds like somoeone has used something too abrasive ans maybe damaged the surface lacquer, maybe get it looked at under warranty, or if out of warranty feel free to order some of the cleaner paste from my site
