Bushy,
Have you had any experience of the Porter Cable Dual Action Polisher 7424 or The Meguiars equivalent. Certainly there are a lot of very good reviews both on the Meguiars website & most of the US based Audi, VW & BMW forums.
The only problem I can see is that it is 110V only, but I have a 230V -> 110V transformer for some DeWalt power tools I have, so that should negate that.
I am toying with getting one sent from www.properautocare.com
who do them at a reasonable price. I just wondered if you had any comments as a Meguiars agent?
By the way if anyone needs a 230v -> 110v transformer I got mine from justgenerators

Well have got my Porter Cable 7424 Dual Action polisher now - awesome bit of kit. Does just as it says it does on the Power Polishing Clinic video on the Meguiars website. Makes it really quick and easy to get that mirror finish gloss finish. I am going to try out some of the Meguiars professional range polishes with it - probably the #9 Swirl Remover as a prep & then the #81 Body Shop Pro Hand Polish, finishing off with my Swissol Shield Wax for protection. Just need to put the order in with Bushy.
