Ceramic Coating

Post by GaryA » Sun Jun 02, 2019 12:13 pm

My B7 is currently having new wings and roof painted under warranty. Whilst its there bonnet and bumper will be repainted. So im thinking of putting on this stuff to give it a bit of protection

Instructions look straight forward, anyone had success in DIY ceramic coating ?
Cheers

I had a go with some Williams ceramic on my old wheels but not quite brave enough to work on the body lol. If you put a coat on I guess you can’t work with a da polisher or you just take it off again?

Car is finally back after 8 weeks of being f%$#@& around, new wings, roof corrosion bubble addressed, roof, pillars, bonnet and bumper sprayed along with blending into what hasn't had fresh paint, doors etc.
Car then went to Polished Perfection for PPF on front end finished off with Kamikaze Enrei Cermaic coating.
Unfortunately the bumper had to be repainted but the guys have applied a temporary film to let bumper paint cure for another week or so.
Awesome job all round, very very happy
Before anybody says anything, no im not happy with the bumper gap, will get this right myself
