Body fence

Post by andyg72 » Sun Jul 23, 2017 10:24 am

After I had the front of my car painted ( stone chips ) I fancied keeping the stone chips at bay .
Luckily I know a guy that owns a sign & graphics company
He also wraps cars ect and told me about body fence .

So in it went to be done
It's a fairly new product by hexis
& self heals if damaged just by using hot water or a heat gun .

Any one else had this on there car ?ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Suntek have done a self healing film for a good few years now. DK and a few others on here have championed it in the past

How's the gloss on the protected part of the car vs unprotected? I have it in my mind some of the films leave a bit of a dull finish?

It's a gloss finish they were worried it maybe too much of a gloss finish but it's just right .

I prefer what's behind them.

It looks like a superb job. Well done. I've saved the details as I may need a car doing soon.

A little feed back on the body fence I had
Just covered 1600 mile Euro trip
Included blast down the autobahn
Few laps of the Nurburgring
All day at spa track day
Return home

Not one stone chip
Very happy :):)
