RS4 - Happy new year...you dirty SOB!

Post by Surrey Sam » Mon Jan 02, 2017 2:54 am

OK, so yes...I did feel a tad guilty!

To be honest though - this is the season where the car really shines behind the wheel and I have certainly been enjoying the 8200rpm of a naturally aspirated V8 with a Quattro powertrain.

Anyway, I cast my eye over to its sorry appearance and thought - I really best try elevate the aesthetic and make it shine in person. Like it does when I drive it.

Cheers, the jetwash is quite a beast. The model is a Neptune 2 and does hot water, which is why I went for it.

Not tried that one John. To be honest I've been happy enough with my own concoction, which is Bilt Hamber Auto foam with a dash of Valet Pro Advanced PH Neutral foam.

I've been using the valet pro for ages then dropped on theirs after buying some of their bilberry and it's quite amazing , was still on the drive the next day

Smart - loving the big Nilfisk (car looks nice too). I've used Angel Wax foam and it does work very well when I can get my lance to foam properly. Bought a Karcher a few years back for hot water, and while it's ok, it seems to lack the pressure to make decent snow foam. And since then, the Neptune wheelie bin design seems much more space friendly and is on my wish list... A decent hose reel and high quality hose is essential to avoid lots of swearing.
My lad uses a cold water Nilf and it makes my snow foaming efforts look like pi$$.
