Cleaning carbon engine covers

Post by jonytek » Tue Aug 16, 2016 8:49 pm

Hi guys,
As the title suggests. I'm looking to clean my carbon engine covers on the RS4 B7, they've gone yellow as they do. I'm sure this has been discussed before but couldn't find anything while searching.

Thanks.

I don't think it is dirt, it is the top coat changed with age. The only way to fix this as far as I know is to rub it down and recoat. Don't take my word for it and start rubbing it down though as I'm no expert in this, just what I recall reading on here.
