My engine bay is in reasonable condition - I would like to try and clean / polish up a little the ally block in the V just under the red cam covers - would adremmel and some polish do this or can anyone recommend a decent cleaner ETC suitable - Also something to dress the engine bay as well.

Cheers

Kev.

I'm no pro but I would suggest a liberal application of a decent degreaser followed by some 303 after drying?

You do have to be careful with degreasers in engine bays as some will stain aluminium and stainless as well as rubbers. http://reflectology.co.uk/gallery-view/r-1ne/ this will do the trick but I do have other products more suited but not yet on the site.
