Carbon fibre

Post by seaneb » Mon Dec 22, 2014 6:00 am

What's the best way to clean the Carbon fibre air box? Scared to touch it in case I scratch it. It's currently got a layer of gritty dust on it.
PREVIOUS: Black Audi B6 S4 Avant. Custom exhaust (sounded amazing). Otherwise standard and near perfect.
PRESENT: Muggy '53 RS6 loon. MTM Stage2. KW3s. 100 cells. Milltek.

You should be ok just drifting some water over it t remove the dust mate, it could be suffering from heat oxidisation as well so a little polish with a mild abrasive like srp should resolve that then pop a high heat sealant on it for further protection, of course all this is me being a little anal.
