Bird Shiz Scuffed the S4's Paint!

Post by cobraBLACK » Mon Jun 13, 2011 6:48 pm

It was purple so I'm assuming it had been eating fruit.

I cleaned it off the S4 as soon as I saw it (it was hard by then) but it scratched my paint as I wiped it off.

I'm left with a hand-sized, swirly scuff on the rear quarter panel but spending more than an hour cleaning the car really isn't my thing.

I'm near Southampton so can anyone recommend someone in southern Hampshire to sort it (as well as a couple of other spots)?

Can't help with a detailer but, did you soak the turd first? I always get a couple of pieces of kitchen roll soaked in water and lay them over the dump to help with the removal. I know there will be some etching already there but this just helps stop anymore

previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!
